Description
The Cathrine was built by J. R. Schrøder of Fredericia in 1876. She measured 266 GRT and was owned by a local company, Rederiet for Briggen Cathrine A/S. There were a number of ships named Cathrine in the Danish merchant navy, but thankfully the artist has provided the flags with her identification letters NPRK. The vessel was heavily damaged in Parahyba do Norte, Brazil in February 1895 and written off. She was however rebuilt by C. Moul of Parahyba, became the Camillinho and was last heard of in 1896.
