Description

On Nevskii prospect - Leningrad 1977

One of the lesser known aspects of Soviet Russia was state owned stores that sold certain kinds of goods on commission.

This particular commission store, located in the center of the city, specialized in porcelain, particularly items produced before 1917 revolution.
