Description
English: Chilean Nitrate Railways - Meyer articulated locomotive. Standard gauge, built by Yorkshire of Sheffield in 1912 w/n940. It is a Nitrate Railways Company Ltd/Ferrocarril Salitrero "proposed Nicholls type" articulated locomotive. It is standard gauge not narrow gauge. The strange name is due to the fact that the company asked the YEC to build a Meyer locomotive but for legal reasons the YEC had to make up some bs to avoid a lawsuit from Kitson. Please check page 93 for more details.
