AMERICA—THE MOST POPULAR GLADIOLI Mrs. J. Keleh, Los Angeles, Cal., says: The Gladioli bulbs came a few days ago and I was more than pleased. The bulbs are so much larger and finer than I had ex- pected. Alice Felton, Mazatlan, Sin, Mexico., says: I am very much pleased with the Gladioli bulbs received from you last time. GLADIOLI AMERICA Named and Introduced By Us in 1906, It Is Still the Most Popular Variety the World Over—We Grow It By the MILLION and Have the True Original Stock. Without an exception America is the most beautiful and useful Gladioli yet introduced. Strong and healthy, with luxuriant dark-green foliage. Flower spikes two to three feet long, erect with a great number of large - spreading blossoms. Color exquisite soft lavender-pink, the same as seen in the most beautiful Cattleya Orchids No color like it in any other Gladioli; none so beautiful. 10c each; 3 for 20c; 12 for 60c; 100 for $4.50 New Gladioli, WHITE AMERICA (See cut on page 6) The Gladioli That Has Been Longed For and Worked For Ever Since We Introduced America Fourteen Years Ago. In 1906 we named and introduced Gladioli America, that peerless pink variety which has known no rival the world over from that day to this. It was a red-letter year for Gladioli and for us. This year of 1920 is another one, for we are introducing WHITE AMERICA, a seedling from pink America raised by a young man (G. Joergy formerly in our employ and bought by us for $4,500. WHITE AMERICA is just like America in everything but color. A free grower, rich healthy foliage, large perfect spikes and great blooms of won- derful substance—the finest while Gladioli—a blue white, the slight marks deep in the throat being blue. It has been growing and multiplying for ten years, till now, its year of introduction, we can supply 100,000 bulbs. Not a fancy price of one dollar each, which they are well worth, but 7 for $1.00, a price which permits everybody to have it at once. We have sold a million America in one season, and hope shortly to beat that record with WHITE AMERICA, for it is the most glorious white variety for the home garden, the vase, and for the cut flower market. Think of a mixed bunch of white and pink Americas—there is nothing to compare to them for decorative effects. Strong Bulbs, 20c each; 3 for 50c; 7 for $1.00; 15 for $2.00; 50 for $7.00.
