Italian Onion Italian Onions have come into favor with astonishing- rapidity. Where a few years ago they were grown only as fancy garden crops, they are now planted extensively for market, and they are, too, a profitable crop. They are of rapid growth, attain a very large size in a won- derfully short time. They are not only large, but uni- form, perfect in shape, and handsome in appearance. In quality they are acknowledged on all sides to be the best, having an exceedingly mild, delicate and pleasant flavor. For eating raw, they are, of course, greatly su- perior to other Onions, owing ot the mildness of their flavor. Mammoth Silver King — A superb Onion that sometimes grows to weigh two to four pounds. Silver-skinned, white-fleshed, very mild and tender—so mild, sweet and tender that it can be eaten raw like an apple. It has an average diameter of five to seven inches, mak- ing a circumference of fifteen to twenty inches. A grand teller in all markets. Pkt., 10c; oz., 30c; lb., $4.0*). aj Prize Taker — A Targe Yellow Globe Onion, very hand- some; fine flavor and a grand" sort for market. Im- mensely productive, producing 700 bushels to the acre,, and is claimed to be the largest, handsomest, finest-flavored Yellow Globe Onion ever introduced. It is a good keeper. Pkt., 10c; oz., 25c; lb.,' $4.00. Ailsa Craig — Handsome appearance, being large, twelve have been known to weigh thirty pounds; it has fine straw-colored skin; excellent for exhibition purposes, in which it is successful. .The shape is globe and forms a fine thin neck which tells of its fine quality; it is, for a farge Onion, a splendid keeper, for eating- raw it has no superior, it is mildly pungent in flavor, sweet and desirable. Pkt., 15c; oz., 60c. Barletta^
