Choice S^'aWberries. Of all fruits known to cultivation, the Strawberry is conceded to be the most luscious, and is a universal favor- ite: yet it is not grown by one-half the people who might grow it just as well as not. It is but a few hours work to plant a Strawberry bed and care for it during the year, and no work can possibly yield a better return. Strawberries bought in the market are not to be compared with the lus- cious ruby beauties, fresh and ripe, from the vines. I,ate Jersey Giant—The iatest of all Strawberries and the largest and best iate variety. The berries are of im- mense size—truly mammoth—heart shaped with broad blunt apex ami exceptionally uniform in shape and ut its soon becoming a leading favorite. It probably has more extra good qualities than any sort now in cultivai ion. Per dozen, 50c: per 100$2.00. Early Ozark—This is not only the very earliest Strawberry to ripen, but it is the most vigorous and luxuriant grower we have ever seen. Berries firm, glossy, of a deep rich red color and extra good quality. It is large and pro- ductive to a remarkable degree and hardy and robust There is no doubt about its being the earliest Straw- berry and the best extra early sort. 50c. per dozen; $2.50 per 100. Norwood—The Norwood is the largest Strawberry in ex- istence. Plant is strong and healthy, berry conic and regular in shape; quality unsurpassed and the siz^ un- equalled, some attaining the enormous size of three inches in diameter. Four such berries would fill a box. Color, bright red, is firm, a good keeper and will shin well. Has perfect blossoms and holds its size through the season and remains in bearing a full month. 60c, per dozen; $3.00 per 100. Bull Moose—A new seedling which his proved to b« one of ihe latest of all Strawberries to ripen. In New Jersey it is in full fruit July first, which is quite remarkable. This sort will prolong the strawberry season to a con- siderable extent and be valuable both for the home and market. G-ood-size, line flavor and color. Per dozen, 50c; p<?r 100 $2.00. Rewastico, (Improved Chesapeake)-A highlycolored.large, cardinal-red berry, and the color penetrates through and through: it is very productive, and in size is uni- formly large : in shape it is as perfect and uniform as if turned out of a mold. In plant-growth it is one of the healthiest on the farm, making plenty of healthy, strong plants, with an abundance of vigorous, healthy, dark green foliage, m quality it is rich, with an aromatic Strawberry flavor: but is Arm enough to be very popular as a market berry. I am glad to be able to offer this new berry to you this season at a price within the reach of everybody, as it is so good and is going to be valuable, that I want all of my customers to have it. 50c per doz.; $2.50 per 100.
