A JUG A RERTENS, A plant of low creeping habit with a profusion of dark handsome leaves, and numerous spikes of pretty blue flow- ers which appear early in spring. It is splendid for cemeter- ies, rockeries or any kind of carpet .work. The handsome leaves being evergreen, thrive in sun or shade, dust.dirt and most any situation where few if any plants would suryive. 15c. each: 5 for 50c: 12 for $1.00- Early Rose-Flowered Pampas Grass. Splendid plant, for it blooms two months earlier than any other Pampas Grass, Doduces twice as many plumes and blooms when half the age. The plant is a grand object, the immense rosy plumes standing higher than a man's head, and the whole plant one of luxuriant beauty. Owing to its extreme earliness, hardiness and great effectiveness as a iawn plant, and also the beauty and usefulness of the dried plumes for winter decoration,it is a great acquisition. Hardy only in mild climates. Seeds—15c. per pkt. Not difficult to raise from seed. Plants—Strong plants. 30c each : 2 for 50c New Crimson Fountain Grass. (Pennisetum Cupreum ) As a show plant for beds or borders it is most superb, the cut above being photographed from our lawn last summer. This magnificent Grass suc- ceeds equally well as a pot plant for window or veranda or in the garden. The abundance of gracefully-curvea foliage is (except when the plants are very young and small) a deep rich crimson color at ail times. During summer and fall the plants throw u p numerous stems bearing long graceful plumes o f rich crimson color and superb silky texture Plumes s i x t o twelve inches long and very ornamental. May be cut and cured for dry bouquets. Plants from seed produce blooms in about five months, but best results will be had from plants already established. Strong Plants, 20c each; 3 for 50e.: $1-50 per dozen. CR1MS^T0%TA1N GRASS See* will ^flower first year, ^ ;Jg OONVENT LILY, The equal of this plant (Anthuricum Liliastricum Major) is found only among some of the rare and high priced Lilies. Each plant sends up many tall flower stems, each bearing a quantity of very large, pure white flowers, sur- passing the white Dav Lily in size and beauty. Quite as pretty, in fact, as the Bermuda Easter Lily. Will attract great attention and is unsurpassed for cutting. A grand good thing, and perfectly hardy anywhere. 20c. each: for 60c.
