Finest G^rdei) peas. This delicious vegetable is so much finer when freshly- gathered than when allowed to shrivel for days in the ( market, that every family, if possible, should grow their own Peas. For early crop, plant as soon as the ground can possibly be worked in thespring, and plant every two weeks thereafter for succession until summer. Childs' Morning Star—J. new wrinkled Pea, earlier than ana o/the small round varieties. It is the earliest pea grown. It is a fair-sized, wrinkled variety, and, therefore, poss- esses the same delicious quality of the late wrinkled kinds. For the first time the fine quality of the late varieties is combined with extreme earliness. Added to its other qualities it is exceedingly prolific, and con- tinues to bear longer than any other early sort. It grows IS to 20 inches high, and does not require bushing. It is the most reliable wrinkled pea for fall use—sown August 1st—that I have ever grown." Mr. J. Goody, of Clare, Suffolk, England, writes: "Your '3Iorning Star.' beats any nea in England for a first crop-") Pkt.,10c; pint. 40c,: quart 75c. By express per peek not prepaid $2.00. Gradus or Prosperity—A new, large podded, strong grow- ing nea, which is only a few days later than the earliest smalt round sorts. It has all the fine qualities of the large late varieties, yet is extra early. So vigorous and strong is its growth that ir effectually resists the pea aphis, which do so much damage to early crops nowa- days. Largest peas and very finest quality. Stock very scarce. Pkt., 10c.: pint. 40c.; quart, 75c.; per peck by express not prepaid $3.oo. Herald-A new English Dwarf Marrowfat Pea of great value. Of large size, with large pods, very dwarf and compact in growth, and of the finest quality. As a family garden Pea there is probably not a variety that can equal, it in desirable qualities, especially in productiveness and suoerb quality. In aii important points it certainly ex- cels. Pkt., 20c; pint, 60c: quart, $l.oo. Champion of England—Still able to hold its own among ail new comers as a nea of superlatively fine quality. Late aud heavy cropper. Pkt., )0c.; pint, 25c.: quart. 40c. American Wonder—An early wrinkled pea of exquisite flavor, readv for the table in thirty to forty days after planting. Grows only a few inches high. Pkt., 10c; pint, 30c: quart, 50c. McLean's Little Gem—An old standard Tom Thumb vari- ety, still among the very best for a first crop pea. Very hardy. Pkt., 10c; pint, 25c; quart, 40c. Everbearing—A fine sort for the home garden, as it does not ripen its pods at one crop, but continues in -bearing a long time. Fine flavor. Pkt., loc: pint, 30c; quart, 50c Alaska—The best of all early round varieties, ripening ahead of all others, except Childs' Morning Star, and bearing great quantities of fine peas, richly flavored. A fine market nea, as the whole crop matures almost at one time. Pkt., 10c; pint, 25c; quart, 40c. By Express not prepaid, peck, $2.co; bushel, $7.00.
