Xe\V ^njaryllis. The Amaryllis is the acknowledged Queen of all bulb- Dus flowers—and Burbank's Giants are marvels in beauty. Btirbank's Giant—This new race of Amaryllis produces a bulb of enormous size and strength which throws up broad, healthy foliage, and stout flpwer scapes, each producing blossoms of truly gigantic size. The flowers are often a foot or more across, larger than the Auratum Lily, and with colors, which for purity and intensity are truly marvels- Their great superiority over all other Amaryllis is acknowledged. We are now offering for the first time eight named s^rts. Mixed Colors —Ail shades- Large bulbs. $J-oo each- $10.00 per dozen. Newport—Glistening crimson. Enormous flat flower. Vel- vety sheen- Five petals striped slightly white at base. Dark foliage- $5.00 each. Morning Star — Light crimson, nearly one-half covered with white. Wavy netals. Flowers 7 to 8 inches across. Height 12 inches. Earliest to bloom. $3.00 each. Snow Cloud—Yellowish white when first opening, turning white with age. Very slightly feathered crimson. Sil- very glint like bead work insuniight. Enormous flower over 9 inches across. Three of the petals 4 inches wide. Foliage light green. Extremely vigorous plant. Free bloomer. Leaves 3 inches wide. $10.00 each. Wellesley—Scarlet-crimson : rainbow featherings of dark- er crimson. Small greenish-white band at base of each oetal. Flower 7 inches across. $5.ooeach. Santa Rosa—Variously shaded, veined, feathered and Jiued crimson and white- Broad white band reaching to tip of petals. Yellowish green tinge at base of the broad regular petais. Flat flower- Broad light green foliage. 4 to 5 flowers to a stalk- Flower 8 to 9 inches across. Heigh; 20 inches. S4-00 each. Atlantic—Fierv crimson, almost scarlet, with orange tint ; lightly shaded at base of petals with greenish-white and crimson. Goldstone-likeglisten. Large strong heavy stalk. Long strong light foliage. Four flowers to a stalk. Flowers IK inches across. $4.00 each. Contrast—Light crimson, lined and shaded darker crimson, with broad bands and featheringsof snowy white. Broad petals: flat, wide open flower. Foliage extremely short and compact: flowers, 6 to 8 inches across. $10.00 each. Elite—Enormous white with scarlet veins. Exfa fine. $8.00 each. Other Rare Amaryllis- "Vittata Hybrids—Large flowers, fine colors and profuse flowering. Many of them bloom several times a year, 40c. each: 3 for $1-00: 7 for $2.00. Jonnsonii—A grand old sort, always popular. Flowers large and very beautiful, deep red, striped white. 40c each- Psittacinuin-Broad, well-opened flowers of great sub- stance. Red. with white and green stripes. $2.no each. Solandriaerlora-Magnificent larce perfect blossoms, -Ol manv fine colors, variegated. $1-00 each.
