SPRING CATALOGUE OF SEEDS, BULBS AND PLANTS FOR 1907. Philippensis—This rare and beautiful Lily has been known for many years and has always commanded fabulous prices.so eager have lovers of flowers been to possess it, and it is with gieat pleasure that we are now able to offer it to our custo- mers at an absurdly low price. It is a native of one of the high mount, ain ranges of thePhilippinelslands. and a few years ago a large lot were collected by an American and sent to relatives in .Ohio, The bulbs thrived remarkably well, and last year we acquired the entire stock. Hence, we can offer superb home- grown bulbs at a low price. Iris a great improvement on Lilium Har- risii, the flowers being much larger anda great deal longer, and a grace- fully tapering trumpted shape, snowy white in color and of a deli- cate fragrance. The plantis exceed- ingly graceful, the main stalk be- ll 'ug slender and clothed with nar- row, grass-like foliage. It is per- fectly hardy any where in the open ground and a superb garden bulb. But for pots it is more than satisfac- tory, far excelling the bestHarrisii, The bulbs after blooming remain dormant only a short time when new growth and more flowers follow, often as many as three blooming periods a year. The cut rep- resents this glorious Lily faithfully and gives a good idea of its wonderful beauty. Large flowering bulbs. 30c. each; 4 for Si.no.

nH;UPp£NSIS Pyrenaicettm—A stately, pyramidal Lily with great quantities of handsome drooping flowers which are deeply recurved. Clear yellow spotted with black... Pcmpomum — Grows two or three feet high, bearing large nodding clusters of brilliant scarlet Lilies. Fardalinum—(Leopard Lily)—Rich scarlet and yellow flowers, spotted with rich brown. Bobust and free flowering. A superb Lily, and one which will give the greatest possible satisfaction. Succeeds in all situations. No garden complete without it 15 Supertmm—Three to six feet high, flowers from five to forty, nodding, brilliant orange-red ; blooms in July. 15 Parryi—One of the verv rarest, choicest and most beau- tiful of all Lilies. Elegant for pot culture as well as for the garden. Flowers partly trumpet-shaped, like Harrisii. and of a golden-yellow color, very deep and glossy. Exceedingly fragrant and blooms early. For pot culture this will rival Harrisii, its rich golden color and graceful form making it a most unique companion to that popular variety. It is sure to suc- ceed well in pots with the same treatment.and when in bloom it will be found to be the most beautiful of the two, though not quite so large 50 Ssovitsianum — One of the very llnest as well as the rarest of all Lilies, It is impossible to describe its wonderful beauty. Color, clear lemon-yellow with black dots in throat. The petals are thick and heavy, looking as though they were moulded from pure wax. Easily grown: blooms early and abundantly 75
