SPRING CATALOGUE OF SEEDS, BULBS AND PLANTS FOR 1904. 113 Tinted Cold—A most beautiful large cupped blossom, pure snow white, with a center richly tinted with gold. In size and beauty it is one of the grandest Tea Roses, if not the very finest yet introduced. Free and robust grower, and a prodigious bloomer. One of the finest novelties we ever offered. Bon Bon—A cross between Bon Silene and American Beau- %'ivavUlg the lovely bright crimson pink color of Bon Silene and the large full double blossom of American Beauty. Free grower and bloom- A great acquisition.

8yJ.)..(hii.D5 EVerbloon)ii)g Hardy Roses These grand Eoses are as hardy as the Hybrid Perpetu- als with flowers equally as large and fine, and produced all the season almost as freely as Tea Boses. They are great acquisitions. Norma—Norma is a Rose at once unique and valuable, hav- ing the vigor, strength and hardiness of a Hybrid Per- petual, an enormous flower like the American Beauty, and the perpetual blooming qualities of a Tea Rose. One of the grandest Roses ever introduced, either for the garden or for pots. Its fragrance is superb, and its color an exquisite shade of pink, which no one can adequately describe. Mr. P. H. Meehan, the originator, says of it: " The color is distinct, the same exquisite pink as Mad. Caroline Testout. Growth extra strong, perfectly hardy, having stood 16 degrees below zero. Leaves very healthy and strong, flowers as large as American Beauty, very double, and a constant bloomer." Helen Could—Never before have we seen such superb flow- ers, not only in size, but in form and color. The flowers are full and perfectly double: the buds beautifully made —long and pointed. The color is a warm rosy-crimson. As a Rose for winter-blooming indoors it is superb. It will grow to perfection in the ordinary living room and will produce its lovely flowers continuously throughout the entire fall and winter. Burbank—The freest flowering Rose in cultivation. The flowers are double, of fine form, nearly three inches across. The color is a deep rose-pink, shading to beau- tiful soft rose at the eenter. COPYRIGHT. ,900 J.LCKILD5' HYBRID SAFFRANO. Hybrid Saffra no-Cross between Saffrano and American Beauty. Same fine apricot yellow as Saffrano. but a flow- er of enormous size and very double. A great and per- petual bloomer. eoc. each ; the 6 for $1.00
