Where can we And a more striking plant than this, with its glossy leaves and huge flam- ing flowers of satin-like texture ? Summer or winter, it is always budding and blooming, and if it becomes too large for the window, can be wintered in the cellar. Pots of Hibiscus are extra fine for piazza or balcony, and for bedding out in summer. Cigantea —A graceful single-flowered variety, with wide-opened flowers eight and ten inches across, and of the most vivid crimson-scarlet. Indescribably rich and striking as a flaming torch; sure to please all. Peachblow—This is one of the finest plant novelties offered in recent years. The flowers are double and from four to five inches in diameter; of a charming, rich, clear pink color, with a small deep crimson center; an entirely new and most beautiful shade; it blooms abundantly and continuously even on small plants. Carminiatus—Full round flower of perfect shape, and of a rich, soft carmine-rose, with deep crimson eye. Aunantca—Large, double, orange-colored flowers. Versicolor—Finely striped crimson, buff, rose and white. Coopena—Crimson flowers, and superb foliage marbled in three colors, white, rose and green. Very ornamental. Minneatus—As gorgeous and flue as the best Paeony, and fully as large. Bush blooms when but a foot high. Blossoms a burning crimson, yerv double. Chrysantha—Blooms perpetually with large flowers five and six inches in diameter, flat and saucer-like, of a clear, bright canary yellow, with black eye or center. Fine plants, 20c. each; 3 for 50c.; the 8 for $1.00 Seed—Splendid mixture of all Chinese Hibiscus 10c. per pkt. Seedlings grow rapidly and bloom quickly. Hydrangea. Superb and easily managed tub plants, blooming when very small, and growing larger and finer each year. Their immense close panicles of bloom are wonderfully showy, and they last in perfection for months. Rosea—Rose color, turning to blue, Very large and profuse. Thos. Hogg—Much like above, but quite white. Red Branched—This new variety, with heads of bloom as large as a water-pail, is of unusual value, commencing to bear its enormous trusses of deep rose-pink bloom while yet very small and increasing constantly in size and profusion of bloom. The stems and branches are dark purplish red, which, with the fresh green leaves, set off the clouds of rosy bloom admirably. Mariesi—A distinct novelty. In growth it resembles Bed Branched, but in color of flower is entirely distinct. It has immense size bloom, fully twice the size of Rosea or Thos. Hogg. Color, a beautiful light pink, tinted mauve. A grand good thing. 20c. each; the It for 60c. Seed of all finest Hydrangeas Mixed, loc. per pkt.
