One of the most wholesome foods known, and much rel- ished by most people. Most physicians agree that the free rise of Onions as a food is a healthful and benefical stimu- lant to the system. Success or failure depends upon the quality of the seed sown. The best Onion seed is always the' cheapest. We are certain that ours is as good as can be found anywhere. Have the ground made very fine, deep and rich for Onions, and keep free from weeds. I,arge Red Wethersfield-A favorite red-skinned sort, of large size and handsome appearance. Onions somewhat flattened, flesh purplish-white, high-flavored, and keeps well without rotting. A standard sort and a great favor- ite with market gardeners. Pkt., 5c ; oz., 15c ; lb., $1.80- Yellow Globe Danvers—Another popular Onion widely grown for market. Plump, handsome, yellow skinned bulbs, very uniform, round and perfect. We have an extra fine strain of this. It does well everywhere, and in all soils and climates, and is everywhere a popular market sort. Pkt-, 5c: oz., 15c.: lb., $1.90. Extra Barly Red—A quick-growing varietv much liked in the North, as it grows well in cold, mucky soils, where other sorts fail. Pkt., 5c; oz., 15c ; lb.. $2-00. Southport White Globe-A globular, mild-flavored Onion of flue appearance and superior quality. The most popular White Globe variety. Pkt., 10c; oz., 20c ; lb.. $2-60. Australian Brown—A medium sized, smooth, handsome Onion, with a beautiful brown skin. Hard, solid, crisp, finely flavored and a good keeper. In fact one of the very best Onions grown. Season very early. Pkt., 5c: oz.,20c; lb., $2 25. Winter op T^ee O^iop. In this we have an O nion different from tnose raised from seeds or sets, or from the Ton Onions, Potato Onion, in the fact that when once set out, without the slightest pro- tection, it will come up year after year as soon as the frost breaks the ground, and grow so rapidly that it is ready for market or home use two or three weeks before any of them It is usually ready for the table early in May. It is unsur- passed for sweetness and tenderness. It is perfectly hardy in all sections of the North. Differs widelv from all other forms of Onions, and should have a place in every garden Pint, 20c-; quart, 30c : peck, $1.50; bushel. $4.50, prepaid One year bulbs at same price if preferred. The Winter or Tree Onion Sets are for Fall planting only AU orders will be boohed for shinping Sept. 1st. Planted out hen they will be ready for use the next spring.
