One of the very best of all bedding annuals is the Phlox I>rummondi, surpassing almost everything else in dazzling brilliancy. We may well be proud of this distinctively Ameri- can flower, for it is extremely beautiful, neat in growth, and an extraordinary bloomer. The newest sorts of Phlox are so far ahead of the older varieties that we have discarded all the latter, and now offer none but those beautiful new ones of recent introduction. The Phlox make beautiful ribbon beds when different colors are sown side by side, and also grand for masses of colors. Per pkt. Grandiflora Mixed—Thirty different colors. No two same shade and color..10 Hortensuflora — Flowers in large umbells like a Hy- drangea. Semi-dwarf habit, very free blooming and more than a dozen fine colors mixed 10 CHII/DS' JUBILEE PHLOX. Flowers of great substance, beautiful form and uncom- mon size, while the colors are extraordinarily rich and var- ied, glowing crimson, dazzling scarlet, deep rose, soft pink, pale blush, maroon-black, lavender-purple, pure white and numberless other shades, many with contrasting eyes, Stripes or feathering. In habit these new Phlox are erect, and bear their velvety blossoms in great profusion, making them unrivalled for bedding. Thev are of dwarf, stout branching habit, and the individual flowers are the size of a twenty-dollar gold coin. Grandest or all Phlox. The Perennial Phlox is now one of the most ponulai and most magnificent of garden flowers. The new large flow- ered hybrids are large, brilliant and beautiful, and bloom freely all summer. Seed is uncertain in germination to a certain extent, unless sown in fall, or sown in soil and allowed to freeze. New Hybrids—All colors mixed, perfectly magnificent..
