SPRING CATALOGUE OF SEEDS, BULBS AND PLANTS FOR 1914. 35 OWarf NasttirtitiiDS. If we were asked to name the six best annuals, the Nas- turtium would be one of theni. They are so easy to grow that a six-year-old child could plant them and care for them, and they have every good quality of a bedding plant—com- pact habit, attractive foliage, intensely bright and beautiful flowers, borne profusely the whole season, not troubled by insects, and standing dry weather well. Per pkt. I^ady Bird—Beautiful yellow, stained deep crimson 5 impress of India—Dark purple foliage and very dark rich crimson flowers. Grand for edging or ribbon beds.10 King Theodore—Darkest of all, almost black in color 5 Golden King-One of the loveliest shades of yellow 5 Coccinea—Bright, flashrng scarlet 5 Pearl—The nearest white. Good for contrast 5 Rose -A lovely soft shade of rose 5 Spotted—Gorgeous in colors and markings.. 5 King of Tom Thumbs-Deep velvety scarlet, with hand- some dark foliage. Very fine 5 Kuby King—An elegnat new sort, with flowers of large size and rich ruby color. A grand sort 10 Golden heaved—Very brilliant flowers ranging from scar- let to yellow, and golden yellow foliage. As garden or pot plants they are unique, combining highly orna- mentalfoliageandshowyflowers. Mixed colors. Cleargolden yellow, salmon-pink, red, gold- en-brown, canary color, terra cotta, orange and black, with all combinations, making a most bri liant showing. The plants are dwarf and compact in habit, with large luxuriant foliage, and bloom with wonderful profusion all summer long. 3 pkts., 20c; oz.. 306.: lb., $2.00 10 Dwarf Variegated-I/eaved Mixed — AH with fine variegated leaves, and brilliant flowers of various colors 10 Glinjbiqg Nastartianjs. Climbing Nasturtiums can be used as bedders by peg- ging the long shoots to the ground, as low climbers for win- dow or screen, or used as house climbers in winter. They are never molested by insects, and are quick, clean growers that soon cover themselves with flowers of the brightest, richest colors. They withstand heat and drouth well. Mixed, All Colors—Very line. Oz., 20c 5 Tall Variegated Heaved Mixed-All with variegated foliage. Very fine 5 Mad. Gunthert Hybrids-A strain of large "flowered, elegantly blotched and marked sorts. For the garden they are superb: but for window culture they are grand, as they grow and flow- er freely during fall, winter and spring 10 New Golden Climber—Beautiful golden colored leaves and brilliant blossoms of a great variety of fine colors. The bright colored blossoms mingling with the charm- ing light yellow leaves produces a pretty effect 10 One packet each of these 6 Climbing Nasturtiums for UOc.
