Think of getting Carnations in flower from seed in about three months, which last throughout the winter, and of var- ious colors, white, rink, scarlet, purple, red, striped, mot- tled, flaked, variegated, etc They are aiike valuable for rot culture and for garden. Do not sow cheap Marguerite seed; it will disappoint you. Per pkt- Mixed Colors—Half dwarf, the finest strain, with large double blossoms, blooming in three months 10 Pure White—Extra fine 10 Rosea—Fine, clear rose color 10 Scarlet—De^p bright rose color 10 Purple—A remarkable rich color 10 Violet - Fine violet color 10 Yellow-Conies fairly true 10 Striped and Variegated—Many colors 10 New Dwarf—Plant of dwarf, stout habit, and flowers extra large sized and brilliant in colors. All colors mixed... 15 One ijachet each of the 9 sorts for 70c. Mor^ttjly Carnations. (House.) A favorite with everyone. Fragrant double Sewers of elegant form and exquisite markings. Seeds and plants grow freely as the old garden pink. Spring sown seeds make fine winter blooming plants. Monthly or Perpetual—Mixed greenhouse sorts 10 I*aw9on Hybrids—This seed is grown in our own green- houses and is saved from the newest, largest and fin- est known kinds, such as pink ana white Lawson, Blue Bedder, etc. All carefully hybridized. Will produce magnificent varieties 20 ardy Carnations. These a r e perfectly hardy, standing the win- ter in the open ground and blooming most pro- fusely in May or June. The flowers are extra large and perfect in form, very double and of every color, including fine yel- lows and dull shades of blue. They bloom much more freely than green- house Carnations, a plant often showing 50 t 0 75 flowers. Early Dwarf Vienna— Mixed colors 10 Giants — Extra large and fine 20 Picotee Pink—Flowers more delicate than other pinks and plea.-antly fragrant. Fine mixed 10 Hardy Hybrids-Hardy free bloomer, extra fine for the garden or for rots- Many fine colors mixed .. 15
