BEST DOUBLE NARCISSUS Double Narcissus are very attractive on account of their large, perfectly formed blossoms, long-keeping qualities and early blooming. The line, harmonious colors of white, lemon, orange, sulphur, straw and primrose are exquisite. Alba Plena Odorata-—Double white flower. Golden Phoenix—Bright golden-yellow. Incomparable—Large flowers as double as a Rose. Bright canary, interspersed with orange center petals. Orange Phoenix—Nearly pure white outer petals. Cen- ter well filled with mixed white and orange petals. Sulphur Crown—Sulphur-white. Van Sion—Old but unexcelled. Extra fine for cutting-. Single star-like petals and long, double trumpet, filled with beautiful crimped petals. Golden-yellow. Price of above finest double sorts, -9c each; the € for 45c; any variety at 80c per doz.; $5.50 per 100 Double Mixed, all sorts, 55c per doz.; $4.25 per 100 Frank Harris, Tulare, Cal., says: I have a party who upon seeing my Hyacinths (which are simply grand) wishes to get quite a number. He states that he has seen nothing to equal them since leaving Holland. Mrs. Laura Van Camp, Maiden, Mo., says: I received bulbs and plants in good order. I wish to say to you, my Hyacinths and Tulips I got from you last year were just grand. My friends declared they were the most beautiful they had seen. I am trying them in pots this year hoping for great success.

NARCISSUS MULTIFLORUS (Poetaz or Poeticus-Polyanthus Hybrids) Although this new race of Narcissus has been out several years, it is, as yet, comparatively unknown, few seeming to realize its great beauty and importance. It is the best and most distinct novelty in fall bulb- that has come out in a generation. A Hybrid Poeticus and Polyanthus, bearing large, beautiful flowers like Poeti- cus, in clusters like Polyanthus, with a more intense and delicious perfume than either. It is perfectly line for winter-blooming in pots. It may also be grown in shallow jardinieres or saucers with pebbles or gravel to keep the bulb in position and water enough t • rover the roots. More water must be added from time to time as the plant develops. Much interest has been taken recently in growing bulbs in this manner indoors. In the garden for beds or planted in small groups among shrubs, it is especially effective. It blooms somewhat later than other Narcissus and is so hardy that it will recuperate after being subjected to a late spring frost without apparent damage to the blossoms. Alsace—Pure white, yellow eye, tinged red at opening. A fine variety. Asposia—Petals snow white with a bright yellow eye. Very showy. Elvira—Large white with broad petals and a light yellow eye. Ideal—White, dark-orange eye; six to seven flowers in a cluster. Xlondyke—Yellow with inch-deep golden eye. A very beautiful sort. Price 12c each; the 5 for 50c; $1.00 per doz. Mixed Colors, 20 sorts, $1.00 por doz.; $8.00 per 100
