ORNITHOGALUM, Arabicum These bulbs are large and solid; Aower spikes twelve to twenty-four inches high, strong and graceful, bearing an immense cluster of large, pearly white flowers, hay- ing a jet-black center. The individual flowers keep per- fect many weeks before fading, so .that for more than a month this grand spike of bloom is infull glory, and verv fragrant. It will grow in any position m any window A buib can be planted in a four-inch pot or several in a large pot or box. This is the most popular of all the Ornithogalums for pot culture. u 25c each; 3 for 50c The Ixias produce their beautiful flowers in spikes, and are of the most dazzling and brilliant colors and sure to attract great attention. For pot culture in the house they give great satisfaction, being of easy cul- ure and free bloomers. Half a dozen bulbs may be planted in a five-inch pot, and the display will be mag- nificent. Out of doors give winter protection with leaves or straw. Mixed, 3 for 15c; 12 for 50c TRITONIA, CROCATA One of the most brilliant winter-flowering bulbs in cultivation. Treated like a Freesia, it produces spikes of large, well-opened flowers of the most intense car- dinal color. It is very easily grown and sure to bloom in pots during winter. Will bloom in the open ground south of Massachusetts. 3 for 15c; 12 for 50c CAMASSIA WATSONIA Very hardly bulbs of stately growth and showy flowers. Leiohtlinii—A showy species with tall stems and dense spikes of creamy white blossoms. 15c each; 3 for 40c; 12 for $1.50 Esculenta—A beautiful bulbous plant, with tall spikes of line blue flowers in late spring. Several can he planted in a pot together for winter-blooming, and will make a fine display. In the garden they increase rap- idlv and soon show great masses of their star-like flowers Fine to cut for vases or large bouquets, nu 7c each; 5 fop 30c; 12 for 60c The Watsonias grow and flower in immense tall spikes like Gladioli, but their colors are more telling in the depth and exquisiteness of their tints. Hardy only in the Southern and Pacific states. North and East must be grown in pots like Amaryllis. Exquisite. White and delicate pink. 20c each; 3 for 50c
