WE GUARANTEE OUR STOCK TO GIVE SATISFACTION AND TO BE TRUE TO NAME. 12 FOR PRICE OF 10. The best months of all the year to plant PEOMESare September and October as the roots then are in prime condition lor transplanting:. They are gross feeders and love a well-prepared place to grow in. Dig- up the ground deep, working- in some bone meal or very well rotted manure. The eyes should be covered about three inches deep. The roots placed two or three feet apart. Late in the fall mulch the bed with two or three inches of strawy manure to keep them from heaving- out. A mulch of well rotted manure applied each fall thereafter is an excellent thing-. Plenty of water during- May will help the size of the flowers. Three Wonderful French Peonies Considering -all the points that go to make up a per- fect Peony these three French sorts are perfection itself. Alsace Lorraine—Semi-rose type. Late midseason. Growth erect, upright with foliage standing off in a marked way from the plant. Very large imbricated flowers in clusters. The petals are pronouncedly pointed and the center petals are arranged like those of a water lily. The color is a rich creamy white, center of tne flower, delicatelv tinted, brownish yellow. $4.00 each Mignon—Rose type. Late. Very large, perfectly formed flowers with broad imbricated petals, soft, light rose passing to amber cream. Fragrant, growth very vigorous. $6.00 each Solange—Rose type. A very tall, full, compact flower of almost Indescribable beauty. The outer petals are a very delicate lilac-white, deepening toward the cenl**r with salmon shading. Some describe its heart or center as Havana-brown or deep orange-salmon. $8.00 eaoh The Three Wonderful Sorts for $15.00
