Select Qvocas. The Crocus is the recognized harbinger of spring. Be-tween the lulls of late winters tempests its brave little flow-ers first appear, minding not the least frosts or flurries ofsnow. For six weeks itr: bright flowers smile saucily at us,quite sure of their welcome. Their cost is so trifling thatall can afford to plant them freely. The Crocus has beenmuch improved late years in size of bloom and variety ofcolorings. Crocus are extra fine for borders, etc, and areparticularly charming dotted by twos and threes over thelawn. They come in earliest spring, and peep through thegrass, as the wild flowers do in the meadow- Fine Mixed Crocus-Of all colors. Fine select bulbs. 10cper dozen: 60c per 100: $4.00 per looo. GIANT FLOWERED CROCUS. A few special extra large-flowering sorts of which weoffer extra fine bulbs either for winter-blooming or for gar-den planting.
