Not at all like the Dutch or Show Hyacinths,though tlfeydo not suffer by comparison. The slender stems, archingbeneath their load of dainty poised bells, are the acme ofgrace and elegance, while so many spikes are thrown upfrom each bulb that the whole plant appears a mass ofblooms, Roman Hyacinths are extra good for cutting, andso early that they bloom by Christmas, or before, remainingin perfection nearly a month if the room is not kept toowarm. They are extremely early and bloom in the gardenwith the Crocus. A bulb can be planted in a 4-inch pot, or 3in a 5-inch pot. The bulbs we offer are extra large.Single White—Every window should have several pots of these. Exquisite bel.s, white as the driven snow and pleasantly fragrant. Never fails to bloom.
