perenue, QuickFlo\Verii)g. This is a strain of the grand old L- Perenne, a hardyperennial. This new form flowers freely the lirst summerfrom seed and is a beautiful thing. Its peculiar beamy can-not be described: it must be seen. It sends up numerousstems, which send out long, wiry branches, which aie cloth-ed with a growth of small, almost hair-like foliage. At thetips of the branches are poised large, silver-shaped blos-soms, borne with such airy grace that they appear to befloating in the air. The effect is charming. Sow seed earlyand plants will soon be in bloom. Two colors mixed, blueand white. Pkt. 15c Vor 50c. we will send one pkt. each of the above 4 wonderful novelties.

TT IS always a matter of justifiable pride when one reaches the head of his profession or business* calling. We are no exception to the rule. Our claim to doing the largest business in our lineof any house in the world can be substantiated by figures, and we are willing to give them. Severalother houses lay claim to this distinction, and while their business may be large, and they may beworthy of all they get, they are mistaken. The following facts and figures will probably show thatour business is at least double that of the next largest. We issued last year (1909) 1.210,000 Cata-logues, including both spring and fall. During the twelve months from September 1, 1908, to Sep-tember 1, 1909, we received 436,814 orders with remittances. The first edition of this Catalogue of152 pages is 700,000. Later editions of it will greatly increase the output. Our gardens at Floral Park, Long Island, (just outside the city limits of Greater New York)cover several hundred acres. Six hundred acres a
