The snowy bells are touched at each petaltip with freshest green, a contrast most beautiful. Can begrown in a cool window, in the border, or at the foot of therockery. Grow about nine inches high. For pots they aregood, but do not bloom early. Give them time to developslowlv and they will be superb. 5c each ; 3 for 10c.; 12 for25e.: 100 for $1.50. ^Winter ^copite. This appears just after the single Snowdrop. Its largeglossy, yellow flowers, set in a close cup of leafy green, arewonderfully cheerful in the dull spring landscape,when eventhe grass is still brown, and the Tulips and Hyacinths yetunder-ground. The Winter Aconite can be flowered in acool room, used as edging for other bulb beds, plantedunder the edge of evergreens, or naturalized under trees,or around rock work. It increases rapidly, and must be-come a general favorite. 10c per doz.; 75c per 100.

Their long, wiry stems fit them admirably for cuttingand for late spring bedding they have few equals, bloomingas they do, so freely, and bridging over the gap betweenthe Tulip and the early garden flowers. For this purposeplant them three or four inches apart and two inches deep,with the claws downwards. They bear the most lovelyflowers imaginable—pink, white, black, yellow, red, blushand variesrated, each about two inches in diameter and asdouble and as perfectly imbricated as a Dahlia or Rose. Al-ways choose a sheltered location. For house culture, plantfive or six bulbs in a 5-inch pot, and treat as Hyacinth?.Thev arp charming winter bloomers.Mont Blanc—Large and double; pure white.Fire Ball—Fine double scarlet.Apollo -Magnificent yellow- Queen of Netherland—Large.double black: odd and superb.Belladonna—Rose, black edge.Rockolico—Fine spotted; new and fine.Robinson—Fine, pure rose; extra.
