Description PEARL HARBOR (June 21, 2011) The new 30,500 sq. ft. child development center at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam is 60 percent complete and has already achieved Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold status for the design phase of the project. The $18.9 million contract was awarded in September 2009 by Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Pacific and is being executed by NAVFAC Hawaii.
