English: Church San Lorenzo in Vicenza - Monument to Ippolito Porto, noble of Vicenza, died in 1572. He celebrates his glorious undertaking: the capture in the battle of Mühlberg of Federico di Sassonia, great enemy of Emperor Carlo V. The author of the monument would be Lorenzo Rubini. Originally placed in the choir, the monument was moved to the fourth right span in 1839 and back in 1914 in the choir.
Français : L'intérieure de l'église San Lorenzo à Vicence - Le chœur - Monument funéraire pour Ippolito Porto, noble de Vicence, mort en 1572. Il célèbre sa glorieuse entreprise: la capture, dans la bataille de Mühlberg, de Federico di Sassonia, grand ennemi de l'empereur Carlo V. L'auteur du monument serait Lorenzo Rubini. Placé à l'origine dans le chœur, le monument a été transporté vers la quatrième travée droite en 1839 pour revenir en 1914 dans le chœur. Monumento a Ippolito Porto, nobile di Vicenza, morto nel 1572. Celebra la sua gloriosa impresa: la cattura nella battaglia di Mühlberg di Federico di Sassonia, grande nemico dell'imperatore Carlo V. L'autore del monumento sarebbe Lorenzo Rubini. Originariamente collocato nel coro, il monumento è stato trasferito al quarto riquadro di destra nel 1839 e nel 1914 nel coro.
