Description
Italiano: Fu edificata nel XVIII secolo(1799).

Di notevole valore sono conservati all'interno: una Crocefissione della scuola del Tintoretto, quadro che ha fatto parlare molto di se, dal suo ritrovamento all'interno della chiesa dell'ex convento dei frati cappuccini all'interno del cimitero comunale di Lentini, nella parte storica: il quadro( datato alla metà del '500) si pensasse fosse stato dipinto dal Tintoretto in persona, ma c'era chi non ne era convinto e si aprì un dibattito, culminato con l'arrivo di Sgarbi a Lentini che disse che non era stato dipinto dal Tintoretto, ma probabilmente da alcuni suoi allievi; oltre a quel gigantesco quando abbiamo anche un San Francesco orante di scuola del Bassano, la Nascita della Vergine del Gramignani del 1760 ed altri quadri, databili tra il XVII° ed il XVIII° secolo.

La chiesa subì danni ingenti durante il terremoto del 1990, ma è stata restaurata completamente subito dopo
