Based on the same Alpha chassis as the upcoming Cadillac ATS, this RWD gem could be a budget Camaro alternative for those under 30 who don't have a prayer of affording the purchase price and insurance on even a V6 Camaro, let alone the SS V8. Of course, it will come to market as a 4-cylinder, and in typical GM fashion, woefully underpowered. But aftermarket companies will be stuffing turbo V6's and small-block V8's under that hood in no time flat, to say nothing of the drifters who have been smarting ever since Nissan dumped the 240SX. That '49 Studebaker roofline needs some work, though. |
