| Description |
English: Up coke train approaching Chesterfield. View northward, towards Tapton Junction and Sheffield/Rotherham - Leeds on the ex-Midland trunk line. (See other views at this site). Here the constancy of the traffic is again indicated by the sight of a Down train receding on the Down Goods line. The train of 20-ton loaded coke wagons is headed by an ex-Midland Fowler 4F 0-6-0, No. 43946 which lasted until 2/59. |
