| Description |
English: Chester Racecourse, The Pavilion, and Flora Looking across Chester racecourse towards the newly built pavilion, that as yet does not appear on any maps. The pavilion has an ecologically friendly sedum roof to which someone has added a plastic sheep. Flora, the florally decorated Superlambanana has now arrived at the racecourse to keep the sheep company and to help publicise Cheshire's Year of Gardens 08. The colour scheme of Flora was designed by Rosalind J Hargreaves and it was sponsored by the Northwest Development Agency. In the distance, beyond the pavilion, is the new development on the site of the old Chester Police Station. |
