| Description |
English: Up 'Emerald Isle Express' at Chester (General). View westward, towards Holyhead on the North Wales Coast Main Line - also Birkenhead, Shrewsbury by GWR etc. The express left Holyhead at 07.30 and reached Euston at 13.55. It is about 10.00 on a very busy Summer Saturday and the driver and fireman sitting on a barrow are probably waiting to take over the next train from Platform 10. |
