Description
Deutsch: Chesa Fonio in Sils Maria (Oberengadin)Die Chesa Fonio wurde vormals als Pfarrhaus benutzt. Nach der Zusammenlegung der evang. Kirchgemeinden Sils/Silvaplana/Champfèr bildete sich ein Initiativkomitee mit dem Ziel, aus dem Haus eine Alterswohngemeinschaft für mehrheitlich einheimische Senioren zu machen. Unter dem Präsidium von Kurt Siegenthaler wurde mit finanziellen Mitteln der Gemeinde Sils,privaten Spenden und übernommenen Genossenschaftsanteilen der ausführenden Handwerker ein Umbauvorhaben verwirklicht, welches das alte Haus zu einer behindertengerechten und modernen Alterswohngemeinschaft machten. Gleichzeitig wurde im Auftrag der Andrea-Robbi-Stiftung in Zusammenarbeit mit Robert Barth und Sepp Müssgens ein Museumstrakt angebaut und der Robbi-Stiftung verkauft. Heute ist das Haus eine Mischform von Alterswohnungen, einem Kulturbüro, dem Mittagstisch fpr Schulkinder und dem Museumsbetrieb. Die Genossenschaft wird präsidiert von Franzisca Egeler.
