...L'abbaye Blanche de Mortain a conservé une belle cheminée de cuisine en granit dont nous donnons (7) une vue perspective. Les armes de l'abbaye sont sculptées sur la clef du manteau, composé de deux énormes sommiers et de trois claveaux avec crossettes. Il n'y a pas ici de pieds-droits pour porter le manteau, mais deux consoles très-saillantes. Le contre-cœur est encore garni de sa plaque en fonte et de sa triple crémaillère...
