Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Chemical structures of some cannabinoids. Δ9-THC and CBD are major plant derived cannabinoids (phytocannabinoids). Synthetic cannabinoids (URB597, JZL184, JZL195 etc) are cannabimimetics. Natural cannabinoids are endogenously produced in humans and other animals are referred to as endocannabinoids (AEA, 2-AG etc). These cannabinoids typically signal through cannabinoid receptors like CB1 and/or CB2 receptors.
