Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The Thomas F. Smith monument next to the dog run of Chelsea Waterside Park, at West 23rd Street between 11th Avenue and 12th Avenue (West Side Highway) in Chelsea, Manhattan. The park was originally a small and unusual city park called Thomas F. Smith Park prior to its reconstruction circa 2000. This monument, likely erected in the 1920s or 1930s, was provided by the Horatio Seymour Club, a local Tammany Hall political club. Smith was a Tammany politician.
