Description Charles McCain, author of An Honorable German: A U-Boat novel. Here I am all dressed up for Mardi Gras. I wore a cowboy hat for a number of years as a youth but I can't remember why. This is the classic position for a Mardi Gras parade watcher and one gives the classic shout, "hey, mister, throw me something.
