Description
English: 427 GRT steamship Agnar, built in Stavanger, Norway in 1884. John Wigham & Sons of Sunderland built her triple-expansion engine. The family took Agnar back to Norway, a 48-day voyage, for a refit in 1901. She was sold in 1921. By 1930 she was registered in Port Louis in the British colony of Mauritius. French interests bought her in 1934 and registered her in Cape Town. She served in Madagascar until March 1938, when she vanished without tracein the Indian Ocean.
