DescriptionCharles W. Bachman on his Turing Connection.jpg | Charles Bachman, 1973 Turing Award recipient, recounted on the 2012 ACM Turing Centenary Celebration how he didn't know what the Award was about but found a biography of Turing in the Boston Public Library. He contacted the publisher and obtained a copy of the biography by Alan's mother, Sara Turing. This was before the Andrew Hodges biography, the one that the panel agreed was the best account to date. | ||
