Description
English: Charles Lenker's property, Freeport, Long Island, N.Y., 1909. This was located on the west side of N. Main Street, just a little north of W. Seaman Avenue, and survived until about 1960 when it was all torn down for the expansion of Atkinson School. In the latter years it was a plant nursery, but judging by this picture it may have been more of a truck farm in 1909. At that time, the house would certainly have been a residence; not sure it was in the later years.
