English: Charles Crawforth Farmstead
Charles L. Crawforth, born in Yorkshire, converted to the LDS faith and immigrated to Utah in 1955. He and his wife Mary farmed in Provo for seventeen years then moved to Spring City to farm. The family lived in town until this two-story, oolitic limestone hall-parlor house was completed in 1884. A rear stone addition was added later. The Farmstead included a granary/root cellar, stone carriage house, and log barn. Crawforth, a wonderful gardener, lived in the house until his death in1910, taking great pride in his adjacent gardens and orchards.
