| Description |
English: The Chapel Royal in Stirling Castle, Scotland, was built in 1594 by James VI, and was one of the first churches in Scotland to be built by Protestants. It was hardly used after James's accession to the English throne in 1603, and the royal family's move to London. This frieze was painted in 1629 by an artist called Valentine Jenkin to celebrate the Coronation Visit of Charles I. (The Visit was in 1633). |
