Tonti Delays Aide's Hearing. New Shrewsbury, New Jersey. D. Louis Tonti, acting executive director of the N.J. Highway Authority agreed yesterday to postpone until August 15 a proposed hearing on the suspension of Charles F. Lindauer of Paterson, supervisor of the authority's right of way division. Mr. Lindauer was suspended July 18 pending clarification of certain aspects of the division's administration. Mr. Tonti originally had said he would hold a public hearing for Mr. Lindauer on Aug. 4, if he desired desired it. The postponement was requested by Mr. Lindauer's attorney, Stephen Korbanici of Clifton, the authority said. In agreeing to the new date, however, Mr. Tonti said he must know by Monday whether Mr. Lindauer wishes to have the public hearing so that there Is sufficient time for preparation. No formal charges have been made against Mr. Lindauer by the authority, which operates the 118-mile Garden State Parkway.

Works copyrighted before 1964 had to have the copyright renewed sometime in the 28th year. If the copyright was not renewed the work is in the public domain. No renewal notice found for the Asbury Park Press for items published in the year 1955. For instance I can find a renewal notice for the New York Times for this year. If you find a renewal notice under a variation of the name of the publication, or a successor name of the publication, or any other evidence to the contrary, notify me and I will delete this.
