Parkway Probers Summon Lindauer. A former official of the New Jersey Highway Authority will be called Friday to testify before the Passaic County Grand Jury, in its probe of Garden State Parkway land acquisition in Clifton. Charles Lindauer, of Paterson, resigned under fire in 1955 as head of the authority's right-of-way division. His ex-wife, Mrs. Adele Lindauer, of Clifton, was questioned for an hour before the grand jury last Friday. About 10 witnesses are scheduled for Friday's all-day session. The probe resulted from a report prepared last spring by the attorney generals office which was critical of Lindauer and State Senator Frank W. Shershin, of Clifton.
