Végétation du schorre recouvert de sable par le vent et les fortes marées, au Zwyn
Sur la partie haute du schorre, jusque contre le bord de la petite dune du premier plan, touffes serrées de Juncus maritimus. Cette espèce est caractéristique des sables salés ; elle s’est conservée dans les polders sableux de Knocke (voir planche 82).
Dans la partie plus basse, Statice Limonium en fleurs. Au loin, à gauche, dunes de Knocke ; à droite, extrémité occidentale de la flèche de sable qui ferme en

partie l’ancienne embouchure du Zwyn (voir planche 45).
