Schorre sur la rive droite de l’Escaut maritime, à Santvliet
La forte marée d’équinoxe, aidée de la tempête des 8 et 9 octobre 1904, a amené jusqu’au pied de la digue, à gauche, des épaves consistant surtout en feuilles d’Aster Tripolium et de Plantago maritima, que les cultivateurs viennent enlever avec des charrettes, pour fumer les terres.
L’eau avait atteint environ la cote 6 mètres.
A gauche, vieux bateau échoué, servant d’habitation. — Au loin, l’Escaut.

Ce schorre est suffisamment exhaussé pour être endigué.
