Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Chanonry Point Chanonry Point is a shingle spit which juts out into the Moray Firth dividing the inner from the outer Firth. A deep channel cuts close in shore at this point, and on a rising tide, Bottle-nosed Dolphins can be easily seen hunting for salmon. Both the canoeists and the people on shore are looking for dolphins which has become an incredibly popular pastime since Simon King publicised the spot on the Springwatch programme in 2008.
