Français : Jean-Guy Violette a acquis ce vitrail en novembre 1969 à Paris, lors d’une vente aux enchères tenue à l’hôtel Drouot. Achat par l’Université Laval en 1972. En juillet 2017, Claire Labrecque, professeure à l’Université de Winnipeg, a identifié le personnage ainsi que sa provenance: il s’agirait du chanoine Jacobus Lacopius (le corps seulement, la tête provenant d’une autre verrière) de l’ancienne abbaye de Parc à Louvain, en Belgique.
