Description

Driver and conductor exchange a few words at Coryton as they swap ends at the City Line terminus on 26th September. Class 142 Pacer DMU has just arrived with the 2C51 1951 service from Cardiff, and will shortly depart for Radyr with the 2V51 service at 2015.

My visit to Coryton had two purposes - to capture the 'City Line' passenger workings, but also as a dummy run for photographing the railhead treatment trains which will begin visiting the Coryton branch within the next few weeks. Since my last night time visit the station lighting here has been renewed, and seems brighter and more photographer friendly, though I'm sure that wasn't one of the design criteria!
