Description iconographique:

Droit : nymphe assise sur un rocher au bord de la mer, les pieds reposant sur le dos d'un dauphin, nue, tenant un drapé au-dessus de la tête et de l'autre main un caducée ; à l'arrière, un navire voguant vers l'horizon ; revers : écu aux armes de la ville de Saint-Nazaire, entouré de palmes et surmontant une banderole inscrite, suivi d'une inscription sur trois lignes, suivie de la rade de Saint-Nazaire.
