Description
English: Chêne de la Basse Pommeraie, Forêt de Chantilly, Oise, France. Sessile Oak Quercus petraea, 350 years old, 30 m high and 1.69 m diameter. Situated in the middle of clearcut harvest area, it have been preserved.
Français : Chêne de la Basse-Pommeraie, parcelle 34 du bois de la Basse Pommeraie en forêt de Chantilly (Oise, commune d'Apremont). Chêne sessile de 350 ans environs, 30 m de haut pour 1,69 m de diamètre. Situé au milieu d'une parcelle ayant fait l'objet d'une coupe rase, le chêne a été préservé ainsi qu'un bouquet d'arbres autour.
