Tiếng Việt: “Các quan Khâm sai trường thi Hội tâu: Thư lại ty Thanh lại Bộ Hộ là Nguyễn Thừa Tín nguyên sung Đằng lục, có con là Hương cống Nguyễn Thừa Giảng vào dự thi mà (viên ấy) không xin hồi tỵ. Chúng thần đã bắt Nguyễn Thừa Tín, giao cho viên Tuần sát ngoài trường thi giam giữ.

Châu phê: Nguyễn Thừa Tín giao cho Bộ Lại tra xét, chức vụ hiện khuyết giao cho Bộ Hộ nhanh chóng chọn người khác thay, đưa vào trường thi làm việc.
